COMMUNITY COUNCIL

Elected as 1 of 6 grade representatives to the Community Council for four consecutive years, I was chosen as the Co-Chair of the council for 2023-2024, being the first Asian-American woman to achieve the role in the school's history. I have spearheaded 30+ initiatives such as mental health forums, influencing 700+ students and more faculty and staff.

HISTORY CLUB

Moving up from the role of Vice President in 2022-23 to President of the club for the 2023-24 school year, I've helped to host weekly club meetings. I have also helped to organize the school's annual History Bowl, where 50+ competitors and even more viewers foster a vibrant community of history enthusiasts.

WELLNESS INITIATIVE CLUB

Having been an active member of the school's mental health and wellbeing club for three years, I assumed the role of President for the 2023-24 year. The club has pioneered multiple Wellness Wednesdays, offering 25+ workshops per event, and hosted impactful annual forums, complemented by a series of smaller yet significant initiatives throughout the year to promote student well-being.

DECA CHAPTER

As the President of our DECA chapter for the 2023-24 school year, following a year as the VP of Leadership, I've been at the forefront of curating educational experiences for our members. I've taught lesson plans and organized competitions like the Stock Market Challenge and the Virtual Business Challenge, to hone the business acumen of our members.

MD MENTORING

As a Middle Division Mentor, I was chosen to guide and support a group of 11 rising eighth graders, nurturing their academic and personal growth. Along with my co-mentor, I host weekly advisory sessions with the students to allow them to have meaningful interactions with older students in their community, and foster a trusted environment where each student feels empowered.
